Bonny Nahmias

Bonny Nahmias was born and raised in Tel Aviv, Israel (1987). She received her B.F.A. from California College of the Arts in Sculpture and Visual Studies in 2016. She has exhibited her work throughout the Bay Area including CTRL+SHFT, Hubbell Street Galleries, Root Division, Southern Exposure, SOMArts, Oakland Museum of California, and the Asian Art Museum. Nahmias is the recipient of the Clyde & Co. Art Award in 2015. Her work was published in Jewish Currents and Asylum Arts magazine. She currently lives in San Francisco where she is an artist in residence at Root Division studio program, and a member of Open Windows Cooperative.
