This four-week studio workshop at Root Division (1131 Mission St.) is a class to discover the bold, graphic world of relief printmaking with linoleum blocks. Learn to carve your own designs using professional tools and techniques, creating striking prints with crisp lines and dramatic contrast. Explore single-color and multi-color printing methods, from precise registration to experimental layering. Perfect for people with no printing skills, or some skills, this hands-on class covers everything from mark-making and composition to editioning your finished prints. You will leave with multiple prints and your carved lino block.
