Helena Gonzalez Martinez is a filmmaker, producer and digital media artist based in Oakland California. Helena received a BA in Philosophy and MA in Education and Social Sciences and has been producing advocacy videos for social movement building and since 2012. Their intersectional approach and their emphasis on making impact through media makes them a strong and strategic producer in helping pull ignored but important narratives to the front. Helena is passionate about food and nature and has been an activist for environmental and social justice since they were a teenager in Mallorca, Spain.
