Guta Galli is a Brazilian interdisciplinary artist working with performance, video, installation and photography. She holds a post-graduate degree in Photography (FAAP – São Paulo) and a MFA. (SFAI - SF). She studies the intersections between gender, power, race and violence. In her works she investigates how neoliberalism and its radical freedom has impacted labor and the contemporary body.
In São Paulo, she has done a graduate degree in Photography (FAAP).
In San Francisco, she received her MFA (Master in Fine Arts) from the San Francisco Art Institute in 2017.

Galli’s last researches use her personal experience as an expatriate artist to make a critical commentary on immigration politics on Trump’s era. In her current work she investigates how neoliberalism and its radical freedom has impacted labor and the contemporary body.
