Alternative Approaches to Acrylic Painting
This class will explore alternative approaches to two areas of acrylic painting practice. The first will involve several methods for transferring a reference image to a larger canvas for painting. The second will explore alternative tools for acrylic painting. We will be making two paintings in this workshop: one representational painting based on a reference photo of your choice, and one abstract painting using handmade tools and ready-made objects. You will walk away with new skills for approaching both representational and abstract painting. .
