Figure Drawing
In this course we will explore the fundamentals of (clothed) figure drawing. We will discuss aspects of form, perception, and anatomy. A variety of drawing media will be at the students’ disposal – including graphite pencil, charcoal, conte crayon and erasers. Our classroom structure will focus on specific body parts (hands, feet, face, eyes, etc) as well as the whole figure – which includes folded fabrics, hats, shoes, etc.
