Offsite Exploratory Drawing

How do we inhabit space? How do we experience the physical, built and natural environment? Each Saturday, we will visit a different San Francisco landmark to explore these questions through various media, while observing, reflecting and interpreting what is seen and what isn't. Exercises will encourage different forms of observation and expression. Basic supplies are included with the materials fee, however an additional materials list will be provided upon registration. Bring a snack!

COVID UPDATE

In response to the current COVID-19 situation, and the CDC statement on May 11, 2023, masks are not required but encouraged at Root Division.

If you are feeling sick, please do not come into the space - feel free to reach out and we can discuss options for making up missed material.

We ask this as a show of community care and a move towards continued safety while gathering in-person.
