RegisterSecond Life Studio is a hands-on design class focused on creating one-of-a-kind furniture and functional sculptures using discarded materials. In this three-session class students will work with surplus and scrap materials collected from Root Division studios and the surrounding neighborhood to design objects that respond to material limitations and rethink how things get made. This course centers reuse as a form of sustainability, offering an alternative to recycling by giving materials a second life through direct intervention. A materials list will be included upon registration. Please note: This class will occur in person at Root Division, located at 1131 Mission Street in SF.
