Venue: 1131 Mission Street
Calligraphy Projects
In this follow-up course to Modern Calligraphy, students will continue their practice of lettering using both pen and brush with water based media. Students will have access to the various lettering tools used in Modern Calligraphy and the space to deepen their practice through independent projects. The instructor will provide resources, examples, project ideas, demonstrations, and one-on-one coaching to students in this interactive, intermediate-level workshop. A variety of supplies will be available to borrow during class, but students are encouraged to bring their own watercolor or gouache set, brushes, and any special papers or surfaces they would like to work with.
