Do you mourn the dwindling of the handwritten word as we rely more and more on computers and smartphones? This course will bring the art back into handwriting, as we learn scripts such as Copperplate and Half Uncial, create beautiful illuminated letters, and develop our own handwriting further. We will draw on examples ranging from medieval manuscripts to contemporary graphic design. Some supplies are included in the materials fee, however there will be an additional supply list provided upon registration.
