Graffiti Art
This class will introduce the evolution of the basic handstyle signature into a simple legible piece. You will learn about color schemes, drop shadow and 3D techniques, and the proper use of backgrounds, clouds, and characters to complement and accentuate a final graffiti piece. You will develop a signature style from a sketch all the way through to a finished spray painted piece. Along the way you will gain an advanced understanding of the history, theory, and philosophy of Graffiti Art and its influence on popular culture and modern design.
