Hand-Sewing Workshop
This class will teach you a variety of beginner needlepoint and embroidery techniques. The first class will focus on needlepoint, covering the continental, basketweave, brick stitch, gobelin, and cross stitch. These will be the fundamentals for creating our own mini bargello canvases. In the second class we will focus on embroidery. Students will learn the running stitch, satin, back stitch, french knots, and split stitch. We will use our new stitches to decorate a mini hoop.
