Root Division's Studios Program provides a hub for promising emerging artists to interact, develop new work, and give back to the community. We are currently hosting 28 artists in 22 studios that are offered below market rate in exchange for volunteer service. Each artist contributes 12 hours per month and are able to get involved in any or all of the following areas:

We accept applications on a rolling basis, with the 1st of each month acting as the deadline for the following month's vacancies (i.e. April 1 deadline for May 1 availability). Once you've submitted an application, we will send a notification with our estimated studio availability and a possible follow-up interview with the Artist Selection Committee.  Selected artists are contracted in the Studio Artist Program for a one year commitment.

Please see our Application for full details on how to apply.

To see our gallery and public facility, we prefer that you stop by during any of our upcoming events and/or during regularly scheduled gallery hours. Our Installations & Site Manager, Carissa Diaz is also available for a short tour of the space and studios on Mondays-Thursdays between 11 am-6 pm. Please email her at to schedule a meeting time.
